I have got a cat called Poppy who Always sleeps next to me, and when there’s food shes got it.  🙂

A day out (100wc)

Rose was gonna go out with her friends Milly and Molly. They were very exited. In an hour they would be in the car driving to lakewood park. When the friends got there Rose  suggested for Molly and Milly to go adventuring. They all agreed. Then Milly said ” why dont we make an obstacle course.” Molly and Rose then ran away and started making an obstacle course. When Rose was running she tripped up. Rose was screaming. Milly and Molly ran and said” what do I need now.”  Because Rose had broken her leg very badly. Milly rangfor help. An ambulance came and took Rose.

Anansi and the food

Once there was a very greedy spider called Anansi. Anansi was half spider half man, he had 6 arms and 2 legs. He always wanted to play tricks on other people.

One day Anansi was walking around, he was thinking about food and tricks ( in other words he was planning a trick.) He walked past a garden and saw a plain apron on a washing line. He crept up and then quickly snatched that apron with some white trousers and socks. Finally he got some shoes.

He looked at the clothes, while he climbed back over the wall. He said to himself, “I don’t know why, but why don’t I become a school cook?”

He walked to the nearest school and a filled out a fake application form. He read out loud “Haworth Primary School!”

He wanted to take a job at the school, all to do just one trick.

Anansi walked in and went into the office. He had to wait a couple of minutes until he could go in and get the job. It was his go now, he walked in. He got the job, he was to go home and come back in a week.

After the long week Anansi was ready. As he walked up to the school he was thinking about the money and the food, what a great trick he had planned! He walked into the school and went into the dinner hall and began to steal all of the food. He put it into his pockets to take home. Even though the children were left hungry they never noticed him.

As he was walking home, suddenly his pockets ripped open, RIPPPPP! He had stloen too much food and it all began to tumble from his pockets. Anansi was quickly surrounded by hungry cats, dogs and birds. They ate all the food that Anansi had dropped.

The lesson is to never to be greedy.

My birthday presents

My birthday is nearly here and I have asked my parents what I want:

Off my dad I’m getting a camara ( a nikon d50)

Off my Mum I am getting a dolls house from the dollhouse imporiom.

I dont know what I am gonna ask my nan and my Grandfather. =)

Venus fly trap

On saturday I got a venus fly trap and guess after a day it caught a fly and only closed for a day.

My new room

On Friday I got a new room so now I can have privacy. I got my own books and wardrobe. Soon I am goona have it painted.

the closet

Ouch stop that! I cant belive that my mum never let me go in a closet full of cloths without even my friends Mia and Moxeralla. I pushed myselsf to the back of the closet aghhhhhhh THUMP.I had opened a seceret door my friends jumped down and put their torches on. ” Whats that?” I asked “a ball of skeletons” replyed Mia. “Lets investigate” I said worrying. ” Why should we be here” Mia told us me and Moxerella agreed because we would get grounded. We climbed back up and played outside. I never stopped wondering what it could be after that.

Why are there magnetic soap?

To help clean up oil spils that are made by ship’s so animals underwater dont get so much oil on there skin.

The soap responds to magnets so the materials the soap dissolves are attracted all together and can then be removed quickly using a magnetic field.

Experts now hope to develop the soap so it can be used on a larger scale to gather up oil that has spilled into the ocean.

Scientists say the soap is still at the laboratory stages but they’re now looking at how to make it better.

How does it work?

The long molecules that make up soap attach themselves to oily, grimy surfaces.

The ends of these molecules behave differently – with one end attracted to water and the other repelled by it.

Because of this the soap molecules gather up into droplets with all the “water-loving” ends facing outwards – separating the grime from the water.

My 3 day maths diary

Monday 22.1.12

I used maths to help with the shopping. We brought a broom stick that cost 3.50 and some flash that cost 3.50 so both of them cost 7.00. I also used maths to tell when I was going to sleep.
